Brief

Audience
Vals Framework
• Believers - They are family embroiled which means they will focus on what it write for their family, I wanted to appeal to adults
like parents as well as children as they will make the decision whether they want to get involved.
• Strivers - They see things in a social way and want the sense of being ‘belonging to something’ the video is to show how
welcoming the group is and that anyone can join in.
• Makers - The collaborate together and work as a team, my positive activity is all about shinning as an individual but shinning
together as a group, learning to work together to create a performance.
Demographic Classification
• D or E (Working Class) - I want to produce a video that provides the expectation that high level performances comes from
normal people. The positive activity can persuade anyone to join, as it doesn't matter about your background.
Psychographic Segmentation
• Aspirer - These are young audiences who take pride in themselves, they would like to show off a but and shine through if they
have the chance.
• Explorer - Looking for a new challenge and a new activity which is the point to persuade people to try something new.
Psychographic Profile
A 15-year-old boy named Ollie, I think a boy as my positive activity has a lot of girls already and I want to promote to boys to show them that it isn't just a girl activity. He would probably be listening to musical theatre songs more specifically Billy Elliot's song Electricity. I think he would go to and see a lot of performances at the theatre usually at Bristol Old Vic or the Hippodrome and will probably with friends or family as then he can talk about his interpretations afterwards. He will always carry his phone and headphones around with him, as this seems to comfort him as music makes him calm and relaxed. He would wear jeans and t-shirts but would dress up smartly for special occasions; he would shop in Topman and H&M, as he wouldn't be serious about his fashion but likes to keep up with the trend. He would wear charity bracelets to show off his individuality. He would see his friends as often as he can, however, they like to be alone sometimes with their headphones in and constantly listen to music and practise singing to practise for a performance or just for fun to help them relax.

These poster represents my idea of advertising my positive activity of a theatre group. When I took these photos we were not being as formal and as focused as we could, however the out come of these photographa portrays my message of my activity being relaxing and you can be yourself around the other people.
The black and white theme conveys that each individual is hiding in the dark and that everyone has their own talent and their own way of expressing themselves through performing, drawing or even speaking. The black and white stand out together just like the theatre group stands out when you learn to work as an emsamble.
The coloured photograph with the green curtain shows that each person stands out as an indvidual. I wanted to incorperate the three stages of my theatre group:Singing, dancing and acting which I think is expressed through the facial expression in the picture. The relaxation and 'being yourself' is explained through the choice of bold colours and expressions.
The fonts used are a San-Serif font as this reflects the untraditional message that this theatre group is modern and does not do the classic plays they make up their own and adapt what is already out there. The font is also less formal which also relfects how the group is friendly and tha you can just be youself in front of everyone.
